Vancouver area pistolsmith for Browning Hi Power work?

Hi all:

Have a friend in Squamish with a Browning High Power that the trigger spring has just calved on. Probably just needs broken spring replaced, but I'm not there.

Anyone able to give me the name of a reliable pistolsmith for working on Browning Hi Powers that I can pass on? Ideally, a pistolsmith who was also a gun plumber in the Canadian Forces in an earlier life???? This is a very nice "C" series BHP...

Dlask would be a good place to start. Call them and see what their turn around time is like.

The old gunsmith at Italian, Ron, has done good work on my rifles, shotguns, and pistols.

CF weapons techs are not gunsmiths. However, it really doesn't take a smithy to change a BHP's trigger spring. Can your buddy disassemble it with hurting himself? Both of us assuming it is the trigger spring.
