Are you looking at new or used?
I have four Vanguard II's and they are great rifles.
I would suggest that range certified models command an "un-necessary" premium, at least on a new rifle. The "non-certified" are every bit as accurate, there just wasn't somebody at Weatherby that shot them until they came up with the best load.
In general it's really tough to go wrong with a Vanguard. Not many rifles on the market that can match the fit/finish/quality at anywhere near the same pricepoint.
All reports put them as the top...so called "value" rifle. Have not heard anyone say anything bad about them.

Ummm...a rifle that fits you and in a caliber that can harvest anything in North America at a low price and you are bucking?:. Do it!
No body from CGN has ponied up and paid the premium price yet.. That's why no bad reports, lol. All reports put them as the top...so called "value" rifle. Have not heard anyone say anything bad about them.
