I haven't heard too much about these rifles. I have to admit that the Krieger Criterion sure sounds attractive however for the life of me I can't figure out why they went with a 1:12 twist for the 223 rem.
Can anyone set me straight on this?

We need to start a Hall of Fame. We have that guy with the Remington Nylon 66 that could practically put em through the same hole at 300 yards, and now this. Worth noting for posterity.
i havethat exact riffle in 223 i shoot 55gr fullmetal jacket i shoot 3 groops at .5 inch at 180 yards and 1.5 at 915 yards . its the most accurate riffle ive ever shot beats remington and savege long distane riffles.
