Vanguard Sub-MOA Varmint

I know I ask a lot of questions round here, but I was wondering what opinions everyone has on the Weatherby vanguard sub-moa varmint rifle in .308. It seems that not many people mention them around here. Any good?
 
I have a stainless sub-moa vanguard in 22-250. I really like the rifle. Went with the sub-moa version over the normal one for the stock only. Im sure if you handload you can get the same accuracy out of either barrel.

I didnt even bother with the factory trigger. Just replaced it with a Timney.

Mike, how do you like the Timney? I am looking at getting one for my AR.

I love the Timneys. I also have on in my Ruger MK-II 30-06. Installing one in a vangaurd is super easy, 1 screw. The ruger was 2 pins and a bit of obvious filing. Not sure about whats involved with the AR.

I know that with my Ruger, the timney spring that came with it was too light so I had to use the factory spring. With the vanguard, just used a small allen wrench to ajust the pull.

I've been happy with the ones I have and will put them in future rifles I aquire.
 
I have seen some very impressive targets shot by a buddy. 1 hole at 100yds. He cant do it regulary but it happens. His is in 223 & has had good luck on coyotes. It has a tight chamber.
