Vaquero problem

Somewhat out of the blue i have developed a problem with getting my Vaquero to ####. The load gate is closed but the gun only seems to #### and index when I hold it at an angle barrel inclined. If the barrel is tipped -90 degrees then it will not budge......any ideas?

I had a problem earlier last year with one of my Vaqueros, can't recall exactly what.
I quit firing it, until I could check at home. Found out I didn't have the cylinder axis pin in correctly, ie not in all the way.
Perhaps check that.
Actually, come to think of it, the pin may have been in too far.

HOWDY; Yes as was stated push the cylinder pin in all the way , may need to put a stronger spring that lock it in. Also check the transfer bar, is it broken or in its proper position? EMPTY unloaded gun look at the transfer bar as you slowly #### the gun, is the transfer bar hitting the bottom of the fireing pin?

Agree with guys above, your base pin is not locked in. Be sure the notch on the pin is facing down push it in until it clicks in.
