Varget 8 lb cost

depends were you buy. if you pick up localy for $340 its probably cheaper than shipping across the county for $275 by the time you add hasard fees and shipping. buying large amounts is always cheaper.

And do any of these lower cost options actually have stock? Its easy to put a low price on something the store doesn't have.

Out west, I don't even look at the price of powder. If the store has stock, I buy it cause almost none of the stores have any stock. I went to every gun store in Calgary and I had more powder in my personal stock than any single store in the city.

Yep, Cabela's wants $274.99 plus taxes, shipping($293.94 without tax or Hazmat.) and this.
"Shipping Restriction - this item is a dangerous good and must be shipped via ground transportation only. An additional shipping charge may apply."
Don't buy a keg at any price unless you already have a load worked up.

If you see a keg priced at $50, buy it regardless of what powder you actually use.......

My local store had powder at 50$ a pound I walked away if to many idiots pay that and are happy about were going to be stuck there order online from cabelas.ca and have it sent to the closes store to you, or do a group buy what ever you do don't buy at 50$ a pound that's a rip off.

Not varget, but every IMR powder that a local store I frequent, was $49 per pound. I remember 18 months ago when I had the time to reload paying 32-36 per pound depending on what it is. IMR4895 is of interest to me because I have access to a few tried and proven recipes. I don't have time to do any load development.

Maybe so but it will seem cheap when you are out of powder.

When I was a kid, it cost 25 cents to ride the bus. Is the price to ride transit today a ripoff? Maybe but it beats walking when you don't have a car.

Powder is so hard to come by these days that I don't even look at the price anymore. Your choice is to pay the asking price or go without.

I seen this coming got enough to hold me over for a couple years eventually there will be a surplus as people my self included bought more than they need 50$ is price gouging and if you take your business elsewhere they will get the hint there are a lot of suckered out there but eventually they will run out of money.
