I didn't say I couldn't afford it, or that it is a necessity. My original point was that they would have sold out of Varget quickly even if they posted a 2-5 pound per person limit. Having a discount for 10 pounds or more likely doesn't serve them any better. Especially when it was local pick up only.
Capitalism would say that you can buy all of it for the asking price, and that is fine. Truth is that we while not being actual neighbours are or should be a community.
Go ahead and buy it all and flip it on an auction for all I care. It's still a #### move, and when someone is in such high demand leaving some for others is a good thing for the community at large. It also does not equal communism as per your original declaration.
