I wonder why someone would publicly accuse a business of price gouging and not take the opportunity to make a profit for themselves. We should encourage a free market economy, if you think you can sell this product at a lower price point and make a profit why have you not done so? If there are retailers that sell this product at a lower price point why not share this info with the rest of the community? Preferably in the reloading sub forum.

Some businesses run on honor and provide a place to shop for customers to receive prompt, efficient and courteous service. In addition, while providing fair prices.
Others do not.
It's up to the consumer to choose what they would like to make them happy.
There are some amazing dealers on this gun site.
There are others, well, you do the math.
Which place would you like to shop?
I think the days of $50 per pound of powder and 45 per brick of primers are long gone
I've seen powder prices upwards of 200 per pound so 90 I guess isn't the end of the world, (although I agree it is too much)
During this whole shortage the most I paid for powder was 80 bucks and yeah that was too much as far as I am concerned but what do you do?

In a time where we need to be pulling together instead of #####ing about nothing, some choose to do the latter. Get a life.
Haven’t you read the news lately? AR15’s banned, Handgun importations halted, sales and transfers cancelled.
How do you think a retailer is able to keep the doors open with the current situation? Sales, you morons.
Don’t you see where this Country is headed? Good luck purchasing anything within the next several years.
Focus your petty angry thoughts and actions towards things that could make a difference…the current Government who have created this mess. Become part of the solution, not the problem.
It is obvious that none of you have any retail experience. Have you heard the word keystone? Powder needs to be $130/lb currently to enable a retail gun shop to survive. You have got to be kidding, current margins are a joke.
Pull your heads out of your entitled asses and open your own gun shops if you want to purchase at wholesale prices.
Stop picking on the small businesses whom are in the middle of the fights of their lives.
Put your money where your mouths are if you believe you are so smart.

Having seen a wholesaler pricing list recently, I haven't a clue how they can charge $90/lbs (let alone the discounted price for larger orders), thats not enough of a margin to keep the lights on. It is strange that 4350 and varget prices have shot through the roof but everyone is at those prices (go with 4451 if you don't want to spend that much). Or i see titegroup is still pretty cheap. We only used one or two types of black powder in our guns, people are too fussy nowadays!
Somewhat related, I can remember paying $0.46/litre for gas in 1998. But when I go to the station and rant that they are charging too much for their gas, these bossy people with yellow stripes up their pants come along and tell me to leave. Don't they know that those of us filling our tanks are what keeps them in business?

This blows my mind, all kinds of wrong with this statement… people are fussy and don’t use a high burn rate pistol powder in a rifle cartridge… well enjoy your face while you have it.
Basement? (I wish) ... LOL, I grew up dirt poor on a farm in Alberta, didn't even have running water in the house until I was in High School and Unfortunately for me (I guess) we didn't even have a Basement in that old farm house (but it did have a root cellar
).It kinda sucks (I know) but unlike the "entitled youth" of today, I very much understand the meaning of a dollar and what value for that dollar should be.
So, I'll just leave this as you win
... spend your easy come money on that Varget powder at 90.00-130.00 a pound while I enjoy my slowly dwindling stash of Varget (7Lbs remaining) which I purchased not long ago ( 2 yrs ago) for 38.99/lb. from a conscientious retailer.
