Anyone have another source for Varget around Calgary? I've tried the two major sporting shops and even Proline in Inglewood. No dice.
I had to settle for N150..;)

Oh, they were fresh out of Bullseye too.

No varget in calgary.......Noooooo....

I have never had a problem buying it here, but I haven't gone shopping for any in a month or so.

You tried russells and wholesale?

Yup, tried Russells and Wholesale. I contacted Higginson 2 weeks ago for their price list...not a peep back. At least one CGN stepped up to the plate and offered me 1 lb for purchase. Ya can't beat this place.

For the price of gas to drive to P&D and back in my truck, I'd be paying less in shipping from Higginson.

Best bet is to call in your order. Make sure your order is over 21 lbs to get free shipping.

If you are absolutely stuck, I could offer you a couple of 1 pounders up for sale.

i think we should all start buying out reloading stuff in bulk....I need to find where I can get keg's of IMR4895

As mentioned, try P & D in Edmonton. I was just there last week again and sent another few hundred on reloading supplies again, as in mid Feb I spent about $800- they were out of Federal 210 primers thou. Good thing I was going to Red Deer for the weekend and at Backcountry Sports I bought out their supply of 210 primers- 3 full boxes. I left them a few single cases....lol

Higginson is the way to go.
every spring we get a bunch of guys from the Club together and we make a big arse order of powder, bullets and primers. Andrew at Higginson, is so good everyone just phones in their own order and asks him to ship it with the order for me. He does all the math, splits the TDG charges and such.
Does'nt get any better.
Last order was over 40lbs of powder.(5 guys)
I too am sick of the cyclical nature of reloading components, and long ago decided bulk and bulk was the way to go.

Great idea!

Guys,

The Higginson problem is caused by Andrew's new virus software. He has been unable to get an email through since mid February due to the software grabbing anything with an attachment. It shows in his outbox but doesn't get released. He is hoping he has it handled now, but anyone who requested a price list would be out of luck as he sends that by email attachment.

His service hasn't changed, but until you pick up the phone you'd think he was out of business...

Just phone Andrew and Tom, that's what I do.
