Varget under 100$ a lb

I was just in my powder magazine and found some jugs of powder I took to a gunshow to sell., about 5 years ago. They did not sell, so it came back at home.

I got my powder from the manufacturer, by the ton, so prices were pretty good.

Anyway, my 4 pound jugs were marked $40, but did not sell. I will find a use for it. (BLC2)

From the sounds of it, double your price and sell it on the EE here Gandertite. It should fly out of your door?

Some guys are very lucky in having family members cary on with firearm interest. Me not so much.:(

As for powder, my place to go is always Cabela's when in stock and required.

I see H110 for sale on a forum for $90, just bought a jug for $42 from Hummason and Lil'gun for $110 and this was on sale before xmas for under $40 at Bullseye. l hope guys are checking before buying at these high prices.

I have re-considered the value of my powder and have decided to keep what I have for my own future use.

And for my kids.

And for my grandson.

And maybe for his kids...

When I was still sort of interested in trap shooting, I met some young guys that were loading powder that their Dad bought for 60 bucks a barrel when the Gevelot plant shut down in Saskatoon. Nobel of some sort, looked and loaded like Green-dot That's not a bad legacy to leave, when its time to leave.

I get special offers of powder from the manufacturers. I don't know what the price represents. Maybe it is the wholesale price the distributor pays?

But I just bought 3 8-pounders of rifle powder for $284 a jug. That offer tells me that the powders are coming in now and they have lots to sell.

I wish someone would make me an offer on primers. I have been paying $65/1000 and kicking my self for not buying a pallet when it was $18/1000. Two years ago I knew a crisis was coming and reluctantly stocked up with 20,000 at $34/1000, thinking I was being ripped off. Even that price is now a bargain. And the 20,000 are now gone...
