I was curious about the various muzzle devices for AR 15 platform offered in the market & while doing a search, I came across this particular youtube postings by these two guys from 21st gun fighter, who did a great unbiased review of over 14 different brands (combination of Muzzle Brakes; Compensators; Flash Hiders). Their review is based on practical applications, which focuses on muzzle rise, side concussion, felt recoil & night time flash signature.

I really enjoyed their 5 series posting which I find to be very informative & educational for all those who want to understand what the various muzzle devices offer.

I will post it in three segments as I can only submit 2 videos at one time.

Enjoy.

Great videos. Many thanks.

As an aside, it really makes me think that we should definitely approach the suppressors issue as one of hearing safety. Watching the dirt "divots" as he fired some of the compensators and brakes made my ears hurt. The sonic concussion must have been literally jaw-rattling. I don't want a suppressor to be "deadly" or some B/S like that, I want them to make shooting more pleasant.

interestingly suppressors are legal in the UK. To keep noise pollution down

+1 :)

Glad to know that folks at CGN enjoy sharing topics of this nature.
I do tend to like bangers (muzzle brake) more so. However, every now & then, I get a frown look from a shooter on either side of my bench at the range. But most of the time, most folks get surprised & would want to try it out.
