Does anyone have and/or is a fan of Varmint ARs (scoped/no iron sights, heavy/bull barrel)

Can't decide between a 'regular' AR and a Varmint AR rifle, what do you guys prefer and why?

I couldn't either...that's why I have a 10.5" Armalite with an Aimpoint, AS WELL AS now a RRA Varmint...16" stainless bull barrel, match trigger and Magpul stock..
It's got a ACOG TA31 currently residing on the upper, soon to be replaced by a Nightforce NSX 1-4X scope!:)
Dissimilar AR X 2 = cake + eat it too!:D
PS I'll post some pics when I get home later.

That's the beauty of the AR system. Buy, say a 16" complete rifle and then save up for a 20 or 24" sniper, sorry, varmint upper. You realize of course that you cannot go varmint hunting with it  since it's restricted. The 24" SS bull barrel upper with floating handguard usually groups around 0.5 to 0.75 MOA. The 16" chromelined CQB type usually shoots around 1.5 - 2.5 MOA with decent ammo

Aren't AR's all restricted? Meaning no gopher pwnage?

I suppose it's best if I READ the thread before commenting...
