Varmint Hunting (WARNING GORE)

I don't disagree with our rights.yours and mine,but such a mindset
is still scary.
.PS
A .458 is somewhat bigger then a .22 is it not?

Please, please, please....somebody take this guy out on a Gopher Slay so he can experience the "thrill" for himself.

Sure I felt a tinge of remorse after hitting my first one and watching it twitch around in circles while it's nerves finished doing their thing, but after the first one or two it's the whole giggle factor that takes over. Taint nuthin like watching a PD doin back flips for V-Max's :D

When I took my new Ruger .204 using 32gr VMaxs' out the first time, after about 10 p-dogs at 170+ yrds, I took one at about 45 feet....I WISH I had my camera for that!! The shot litterally cut it in half. :D Each half was about 8 feet from each other with a red splash across the grass connecting them.

I may have been there to witness that wonderful day, nice to see all of you gentlemen online again. have a new 17 fireball that is very impressive on gopher fur.....lol

Brad, Gregg....good to see you guys are still around. Yeah, we had a bunch of great shoots...still got my .204 and I picked up a Remington 700 with a 26" heavy barrel in .223 now as well. Was always wanting to try my hand at coyotes with the .223
Topped everything off with some nice glass too...Elite 3200's in 5x15.

Rick, are you loading for your new 223 rifle, i have a newish one in a CZ HB and I have been loading 4o gr bullets. if we get some warmer weather we should head out to wabamun range some time. nice place but only goes to 200 yards...FS

The range is now open across the board Gregg...the long shot ranges were certified a couple or three weeks ago.

"Sincere thanks from Sierra 64 Riflecraft to Steve Emblin and all the CHAS executive for getting our range back! 800 meters, .50 BMG certified!"

And yes, I am reloading for it. Using Hornady 40 gr bullets. Sounds like a plan. Right now its zeroed for 100 yrds.
