Varmint Hunting (WARNING GORE)

Sorry...you are right. He says 8 frames per sec. My mistake. Heres a snip of his description.

I probably got the 800 from him saying the 1/800 of a sec shutter speed.
Go to the bottom of the picture where it says Exif data and it tells that the camera is a Nikon D2H 200mm lense @f4 and 1/1250th of a second.
Excellent shots for sure and thanks for sharing

[The gopher I'd say was with 30 mike mike...
/QUOTE]

the gophers were all done with .204 cal rifles.

shot with a verrrry expensive multi frame per second digital camera. these aren`t taken off any video.

A 204, really!? You're sure it wasn't 30mm from an A10? I guess I should have used one of these :p ;) in my other post to indicate I wasn't serious.

Cheers bud,

It's more like "art" than a inside out PD.

... I went to see Body Worlds last year, it's amazing how fine a line it is between art and gore.

I love popping PG's, but those pics show a side you never get to see. My FPS in my eyeballs only register the mist.. too bad I don't have a freeze frame to enjoy it. I guess I'll just have to offset quality with quantity. hahaha!

..Great Pics!

Not as disgusting as seeing a cow or horse running a round with a broken leg from stepping in one of those li'l bastard's holes.
I say kill 'em all!

I don't have a problem with gophers being shot (MANAGED)
Its the glee that these guys express in seeing them blowen apart,
vapourized,that bother me,scary.

Bumukas

You oughtta see the glee when theres 5 of us in a field *managing* gophers. One of my buddies uses his .458, .338, and his .308 to try and achieve the mushroom cloud effect.
The giggle factor quotient is off the meter.

No Kidding!!!!!!!! I went to Alta this spring for my first gopher 'managment' session - what a blast!!!! I went out a few times with some local guys and we laughed and we laughed and we laughed. 22lr is good enough but a centerfire on these critters is absolutely awesome. Split, blown, bounced, decapitated, vapourized........it was great!!!!:D:D:D
