Varmint Hunting

I walked right up to a yote 2 days ago. 30 yard shot with 00buck did the trick and now there is 1 less stupid yote in this country. I hear a lot of stories about how easy it is to hunt yotes. I always call "BS" Those buggers are so smart and adaptable that it takes all of my hunting, shooting skills to bag them. Sure it is easy to shoot them from the road but if you target them specifically be prepared to go home empty-handed and with a little more respect for these animals.
 
Your welcome Clint. My favorite kind of hunting is gopher ( prairie dog). I really enjoy being able to shoot between 250-500 rounds in one day.
 
Gopher hunting is probably my favorite thing to do. I just moved to Medicine Hat and haven't been able to find a spot yet. Actually, I'm not too sure where to begin. There is lots of open land but I don't want to shoot on it without asking for permission first. And sometimes I see 2 or three houses and don't know who to ask or who owns what land. Plus I am kind of shy and don't want to hear the "no" answer if I get up the courage.
