What would you buy Leupold,Zeiss or Swarovski? Now what model and power for hunting primarily coyotes? I'm using a Tikka T3 in .22-250 with a 3x9 Bushnell Elite3200 Firefly and what to up-grade for next season.

If you want high quality and price is not important look at Nightforce I have a 5.5 X 22 X 56 and love it , it is on my remington 700 sps dm in 7MM . Worked very well in low light on it's first moose in cover at close range and being 22 power it has good long range attributes .

Dave, are you hunting those coyotes over bait or calling them? If over bait at longer ranges the Nightforce would be really nice....but for a calling rifle the Bushnell is pretty good. If you're dead set on upgrading the glass on a calling rifle...I'd choose a Leupold VXIII 2.5-8X36.

If price is an issue, I would look very closly at some of the higher end Nikons. Beautifull optics and one of the line for sure has 1/8 min clicks with external adjustment knobs.

i would go for a leupold 4.5 to 14 with the varmint reticle or a 6.5 to 20 leupold .

Leupold VX III 4.5-14x40mm with a varmint hunter reticle, good starting point and lots to upgrade from that point. Like a VX-L or even a mark 2.

We have used 3-9 to 8.5-25 for coyotes and have pretty much settled on the above scope. The VH reticle works well with the hot varmint calibers as the bars are close together. The mil-dot is scary on top of a .308 with 168's but the bars are too wide for anything faster.

Thanks alot guys I purchased a Bushnell 4x12 from a guy on this site will try that for a season. Had a look at those Nightforce scopes now I might have the funds to upgrade my scope on my .338 lupua. Where can you buy those in Canada?
