Anyone have any experience with the Vector Optics Paragon Prisms?

FocusTripp on Youtube has a fairly good review on them and suggests they may be better than the Primary Arms SLX.

The problem is, all of the info on these seems to be promotional material from Vector Optics or obscure reddit posts speaking their praise while others say they are airsoft garbage. Other than this review by FocusTripp and the comments in the video.

I'm only looking at them since the PA SLX is really difficult to track down right now and I'd run the Vector, if it won't fall apart, until I can get a PA one and keep the Vector as a back-up.

Any opinions on them would be great.
 
Somewhere last year I had the S6 LPVO for several months mounted on my Leshiy2.
The glass is great, I liked the reticle (Etched glass VI-CTSIX), but I could not get used to a low power scope. For hunting may be a perfect LPVO but not enough power for target over 50M for target shooting beyond 50M. The paralax adjustment on that one was 100M.
 
I use the maverick prism and the s6.
Great clarity, quality and durability for a amazingly good price point. Would definitely reccomend.
 
I had the Continental 5-30 before stepping up to my Razor 4.5-27. Razor is obviously killing the vector, but being 1/3 of the price of Razor, the Vector hold its value well
 
All four of prism sights I had a chance to try I have found a most trouble with short eye relief. But again I have only bullpops and can't comment how these fit on a furniture rifles. I would like to get one with a tactical reticle but so far only red dots gives the comfort for my style.
 
I ended up buying the Vector Paragon 1x and just recently picked up a PA SLX 1x. I don't know if the $150 price difference is worth it. I'm still trying to decide. I would say the Vector's glass a bit better. It might be because the Vector appears to be a true 1x whereas the PA is ever so slightly magnified. The PA come with a bunch of mounting options, the Vector only comes with 2. The PA wins on brightness settings as well as shake awake. The PA is smaller than the Vector but the Vector's shape is better as it doesn't have a big knob sticking out of the side obstructing your view with both eyes open.

Overall, they're basically the same optic with a few better features on the PA. I haven't run either of them through serious testing but I mounted them both on my Mossberg 590 without any issues after shooting slugs.

If anyone is looking to try out a microprism and wants to save some money for something for the range. The Vector Paragon is worth it. If it's a SHTF firearm I'd pay extra for the PA features.

Hopefully that helps someone in the same situation as me a few months ago.
 
I just picked up a Paragon 1x16 and am very impressed. As you mentioned, it’s not as feature-rich as the PA, but the eye relief is waaaaay better. Very impressed.
