Vehicle chasing coyote

Last summer I saw a coyote up ahead of me in the ditch, hunting mice I supposed. As I got close, it came up onto the shoulder and as I come abreast of it, it came out onto the pavement, matching my speed and nipping at my rear drive tire. I was going about 20-30 mph and driving a tandem tank truck. It stuck with me for about 100 yds. This was in Manitoba along Hwy # 10. I was there as I work in the area on road construction every year. I told some of the guy's at work about it and they all said they had never seen or heard of such a thing.

Stop and see if he gets in the car. If he is friendly take him home - be the coolest dog in the neighborhood and would keep those pesky neighbor kids off the lawn LOL

I've seen coyotes look both ways and wait for traffic to clear before crossing the road late at night in southern Ontario .. never chased a car though!

I was playing hockey on boxing day out at 8 rinks in Burnaby BC, and while the light was red a coyote crossed in front of my truck at the crosswalk. Once across, he casually trotted through the rink parking lot, then ducked into the bush near the soccer fields just off the highway. It was 10am, but still somewhat busy around the rink and he wasn't fazed by any of that.

Get rid of the Liberal bumper stickers.
now that IS VERY FUNNY!!! Laugh2

you gotta admit they are clever, cocky bastards and they have balls!

Few nights ago riding through Vancouver had a coyote chase my motorcycle for about 1km before revving up the motor loudly scared it off........was pretty amusing to say the least......an them buggers can run pretty quick to say the least.

Was down below the Iron Workers bridge around 0100hrs.

I see a snowmobiler managed to run down my crazy coyote some time earlier today. Figures, I was going to go see if I could get a shot at him and some of his buddies tomorrow.

Saw a coyote in the heart of Death Valley. Must have been used to being fed by tourists, cause he just stood in the middle of the driving lane, obviously knowing we would stop. ;)

Get a shot at the heroic snowmobiler or the coyote?
