? Velocity American Eagle 147Gr. 9MM

I have been using factory (American Eagle) 147Gr. 9MM in several of my pistols as they definitely prefer this weight over 124 or 115Gr.
I plan on loading my own, using Hornady 147Gr. XTP bullets, and would like to start my trial loads close to the velocity of the American Eagle factory.

That is expensive ammo to handload.

Use a moderate to slow powder like Unique, Blue Dot or 3N37. I use 4.6gr 3N37.

In my experience AE ammo are full trottle load, in 357 and 44 they are fast over the chrony... JP.

You will be looking at about 950 fps +/- 30 fps or so depending on the firearm.
