I had heard of using coffee in meat rubs, and tried it on Friday. I just added a little to some Montreal Steak Spice to see how it would taste. It was pretty good!
I thought I would try again on Saturday, and went from scratch this time.
I didn't measure anything, but it was probably 1 tsp chocolate macadamia Kona coffee to 3 tsp chipotle pepper spice, with about 3/4 tsp of coarse ground sea salt.
I had a bottle of Carmen Merlot (Chilean) that went awesome with it
Next time, I'll measure everything out, and probably add something else to it, once an idea strikes me.
