It is a genuine question! I'm not at all the best shooter in the world but this weekend I have probably had the worst results on the paper ever. I still haven't figured it out yet, but if you litterally mean holding the gun too hard that might be it. I was shooting with a new coat which is pretty puffy...

yup he means holding the gun to tight, if you start pulling the gun into your shoulder to hard, you will start to fatigue more muscles then nessisary and you get the shakes..

a puffy coat deffinatly doesnt help this, even tho your tucking the rifle into your shoulder just the general puffy ness of the coat will allow the back of the stock to move around more under recoil and that wont help ur accuracy at all

no but i like to think this is sort of like rideing a bike haha, my shooting generally falls into the higher end of casual shooter, but this was more like novice haha im sure it was just an off day and it should all be well come next weekend haha

Looks like you were the bug on this outting. :)

I do shoot competetively and there are days when you can't even buy a good relay. All you can do on those days is drown your sorrows in Rye and Coke.

Go out and get em next time.
 
haha well if competitive level shooters can have bad days then i dont feel so bad lol,

its still the rifles faul though..

Sure blame me cause I wasn't there... stuck at work so I cast some Voodoo sh!t on you! Your downfall was when you sent me the picture of your target and were bragging :p That was all I needed to put the spell to work!
 
I don't find shooting easy. My range trips seem to alternate between the feeling of:
"at last I'm finally getting somewhere"
and
I'm about as good as teets on a bull and should find a hobby I'm good at..

Fortunately shootings fun and worth all the agonising over accuracy. :D
