I've been talkin to Karim at Socom. I've been waiting on an Aimpoint Micro mount.
Unfortunatly now that im ready to get an optic, they still aren't here, so i put an order in for an Aimpoint ML3, and i'll get an ADM mount instead.
Copy or not, at least they sell to Canadians, which means 1000 times more to me than someone that makes good #### but wont try to sell it to Canadians.
Dont get me wrong, i've talked to Mark LaRue, he's a great guy and if his stuff was avaliable in canada, i'd buy it almost exclusively, but thats not the way it is.
Unfortunatly the money pit in Canada is still untouched... LaRue stuff sells out in a week or two, and is in EXTREMELY high demand despite its price. Even though he knows this, "something" is still preventing LaRue from doing anything about it.
I really dont believe the US state department doesn't allow export solely based on his brand name. If that was the case then ARMS, GG&G, PRI and a whole bunch of other guys would be completely unavailable here.
And yet you can get most of that stuff from people like Wolverine supplies or Questar.
Mabey im just tired of kissing a** to try and get some decent kit.
