Verifiers Network and tech. e-mail

This is interesting because I received an antique letter from gregg.seeley@rcmp-grc.gc.ca one month ago.
Do they move around like carnival folks, that would explain the constantly changing email?

Looks like to request for an antique letter, you have to first phone 1-800-731-4000 ext 1090
then give them your email, and they'll send you an email from their newest mailbox also a list of the latest funny rules on getting a letter.

I'm over a month into waiting on a letter for my Colt SAA. Got my sister to go through the process, as she has no PAL, so will avoid the "shaddow registration". I was one photo short of their requirements, which delayed the process considerably! Been almost 2 weeks since she sent it, and still nothing! She called on Monday, and they said to call back on Friday. She's super busy at work, so I haven't heard from her yet. Frusterating, cuz I need the letter to appease my skeptical gunsmith...

That sucks. I hope all turns out well, keep us updated, all should turn out well. Of course feel free to contact or post here should you require any help :).

They cut out all civillian verifiers you need to own a gun busniess or be affiliated with a club

Even then they're cutting back trying to make it even less then that....

How ever I verfied my own firearms more then once with out a picture ect it was to change the classification of a firearm from 1 class to another and there was no problems with it..

I just phoned 1090, the answering machine said the office was closed. Last email I sent to them was almost 4 months ago.
Is there anyone had contact with them recently?

My first time trying to acquire a antique letter and am finding it a frustrating experience. i had some help from dingus to get started which I'm grateful for
but since then not so much fun.lots of emails back and forth and not getting anywhere the latest one was how do i know it really is a 38 rimfire i said because
that's what the seller said it was (maybe they don't like my attitude)I got a reply back to forward the sellers email to them that shows he said that.

I was told to register the handgun, on the registration website, just like any other handgun. then it gets disqualified and the my registration gets sent to the tech lab for the antique status letter. That procedure sounds odd.
