Verney-Carron users?

I "accidentally" bought a NIB Verney-Carron Impact Plus 30-06 for 1000$ at an auction.
Does anybody have some experience with these? I’m wondering how they compare to let’s say, Sakos.
Could I do better for 1000$ on the used market?

Yeah that’s why I bid half the new price. Now I’m wondering if I should sell it while it’s unfired.
I don’t know if these rifles are particularly accurate or durable, there is no information online.

I have the exact same rifle and love it, light, handy good performing rifle. No problems with it and its fairly accurate. Sounds like you got a deal.
