Versapod vs Harris Bipods

Is it a stable platform? What about construction, flimsy?

its steel, fit and finish is good, only flimsy part is the springs, but it would be useless if they werent, lol.
Looks damn near the same to me. and you can get the versapod with the swivel for less then the fixed harris.

I dont know if its supposed to be mounted so the legs fold towards the stock or the muzzel, but I have mine folding towards the stock.

Versa Pods are a good product as are Harrris. I have both and prefer the Harris stricktly based on size, the Versa is quite a bit more bulky and hangs off the gun a fair bit more. The Versa pod can be folded both ways, if you want the Harris to fold towards the stock, just mount it the opposite way. The Vesa Pod is a copy of the Parker Hale bi-pod, but it is nothing in comparison to the PH, which is of much higher quality, but if you can find a PH or buy an AI, you are looking between $300-$500, were the Harris and Versa run $85-$200 depending on the model and were you buy it. Only you will know which one you like better.

I own 3-Harris models and recently decided to try out a swivel model from Versa-pod.My personal preference is for the Harris. Both are good quality but the Harris works better for me.Don't care to much for the Versa-pod.
