During out last IDPA outing, we discovered by accident, how many different guns a Fobus GL 4 for the Glock 21(45 ACP) could hold.

To date we've tried the: Glock 17/19, 21, and 34/35, Girsan MC 28, Tara TM-9, S&W SD9VE, H&K SFP and Walther 99AS.

These all fit well and would not fall out when turned upside down.

Even the CZ 75/85 and the 1911 would fit, but not hold on, in the upside down position.

Very interesting, I think.

That's pretty cool, we have stumbled across a couple of holsters that could be made to work with another gun but that's an impressive amount of crossover lol

The Bianchi UM-84 military holster is like that - It fits 1911s, Barrettas, Sigs and Glocks with equal ease and security. One of the best designs for open service carry that there is.

 And yet it's not found anymore, not with police, not with warfighters, not with open-carry advocates, and certainly not with (shooting match) competitors.

P.S.: Are they still making that POS?
