I've read many of the posts regarding powder choices, and they all seem to have their pros/cons.

But...if I wanted to load 124's, 165's and 200's at the higher end of the spectrum/pressure... is there a single powder that would suffice for all three calibers?

Also, if there are a couple with suitable ballistics... does one meter better/accurately/consistently than the other.

These loads will ultimately be at or .1 under maximums.

I use Titegroup for all my non magnum pistol loads.9,40,45,38sp,38s&w,32acp, meters nicely, fairly clean, use relatively smaller amounts and is usually cheaper to buy

Power Pistol would work well....also most powders that work in 9mm (or .40, .45) will work in the other two calibers...But Power Pistol will give you top fps....

Power Pistol, HS6 and Titegroup are the ones I was leaning towards. Power pistol does show higher FPS and that is what I am looking for.

Power pistol will also give you a nice muzzle flash as well :) and you can load .45acp +P with it...I've tried a bunch of powders and this is the powder I'm going to stick with from now on!

HS-6 is not bad I used it in 9mm wth good results...

I've only used Titegroup once (1lb) but didn't like it because it burns very HOT, aftre couple shots the gun feels like you just fired 5mags rapid fire...

Universal Clays is decent for mid to high end loads, I use it for 9mm and 45. Lots of incomplete burning on low end 45, but you're not doing that so it's moot.

Titegtoup and 231 if TG is not available. However, I use my remaining hidden few pounds of N320 for major matches due to its consistency. :)

I use one of the oldest powders around Unique. Its dirty but a very effective powder. Used it for all my subgun ammo in 9mm and 45.

I've used 231 for all 3, but 40 needs something else... Power pistol is not great in 45... HS6 might work, titegroup might work .. But you are doing A high medium and lo pressure load so your either gonna get a whack of flash or a really dirty load depending on your powder...

I have been using Tightgroup for all three for a few years now.

Started out with .45 back in 1999.

Then 9mm in 2000

.40 just this past summer...

I buy it by the 8 lb jug now.
