vertical grip for SA CQB

I was looking at a verticle grip, made by Swiss Arms, for the CQB a little while back. The thing was about $180. Has anyone got an informed opinion about the quality of the Swiss Arms grip, versus the various cheaper alternatives?

I'm assuming it's metal for that price? I've heard stories about plastic ones breaking under 'real world' use (here and m4carbine.net), but I haven't heard any complaints about plastic ones for range use.

Plus, I think metal would suck in extreme heat or cold.
