Brought my Guide gun to the range last week, nothing like firing a 45-70 indoors...
Anyway, when I bought it I had totally taken the gun down, and cleaned it, spotless, I'm kinda anal about guns being dirty in storage.. I hadn't fired it since.
So on to my question, is 45-70 always this dirty to fire?
Its the Leverevolution stuff, I fired 4 rounds, and it looked like my shotgun after 400 rounds of Federal trap loads..
