VERY happy with my gun!

Im very happy about the way this load, and my rifle is shooting.

Shot prone with a Harris Bipod laying in the weeds with a rear sand sock

Now before you bust my nuggets that these are not 5 shot groups remember reloading supplies are hard to come by and I have a match in 2 weeks.

Scope height 1.90

altitude 4600

Temp 55

Pressure 30.28

Humidity 38


Shot 510 yards and had to dial 3.1 mil.



I came up with 2576 FPS

Any help is greatly appreciated

Ran through QuickLoad with the basic info you gave and came up with 2637 fps ina 26" tube using the 2.9" COAL.

I thought .308 cartridges had to be a maximum of 2.8" COAL to fit into .308 magazines?

2.8" is the standard. However the OP stated he seated long... this leads me to believe he was over 2.8". My AI mags ar about 2.980" for reference.

I don't get how a .6 moa gun can become a .3 moa gun as the ranges increase. I guess a 1600 yards he'll have a .1 moa gun. Math doesn't lie.

Great shooting, great rig...and a prime example not to jump the gun on replacing factory barrels, some just shoot!!! (Nice to have a positive post, thank you)
