Oh could we? Funny, last time I looked at an AK I could buy here it was about $4000. And that AR15 we can take anywhere, guess we can get something somewhat close in the $2000-$3000 range.

Who cares where this fits into the US market? If it made it passed the lab boys it would sell here.

Give him a break. He was just trying to rub in the fact he can take an AR15/AK out into the bush.

IMHO, this could NOT be classified as an AK.

The main technology of AK is that "lower receiver" is the main receiver, as it holds both the fire control group and the bolt group. The top part is just a cover. An AK can be fired without a top cover, as the lower is the only receiver needed to make the system function. This is what "makes" an AK.

This M10X has a clear distinction between a lower(fire control group) and an upper( bolt group ). The lower itself cannot fire on its own.
