Note to the wise: taking it fully apart is challenging. There were a couple of spring / plunger assemblies that needed three hands. The one that devilled me needed my buddy and halibut line (tie up the compressed assembly in the vice) to complete. All in all it worked out well. I also posted about the extractor being problematic. Turns out the spring etc. was installed backwards and in the factory I have to assume.
Got some background as well. Grandpa (passed) bought it for my dad when he was a teenager to go duck hunting. Dad said he used it that day and he got a duck. It has sat until what you see here.
Pretty happy. I know its only a 150 to 200 shotgun to the real world. Priceless to me.
