Vibration damper

Personally I haven't used them. But from everything I hear, they work as advertised.

Not sure if I'm at the point where I could take myself seriously with one on my gun though. I think I still have to have the "my gun looks badass" thing.
 
I've personally never used them either, but some of by shooting buddies have.....from bench, they look to work great..you just have to find the sweet spot on your barrel for them. The packaging gives you a starting place, but moving a 1/2" at a time up or down the barrel until you find where it works best is what ended up happening.

I've considered getting one, just don't know which rifle I would put it on and if it really works that great I'd have to buy a case of them for my various rifles and I'm too cheap to do that :) ;)
