Just got a nice little package from Brownells, which included a generic Jentra Glock Grip Plug, and a Tangodown Vickers Extended Mag Release for my Glock 17.

The installation was so stupid easy that I could do it (an achievement in itself), using nothing but a small flat-head screwdriver, and easily passes function test.

The release is slightly longer than the factory release and slightly shorter than the OEM extended release. Pretty much the perfect length to allow easy and quick mag release without repositioning of hands.

An added benefit is that the edges of the release are slightly rounded, so it doesn't dig into the sides, and prevents accidental mag release when laid flat on a table.

Also, maybe it's just me, but my Mag releases seem to be a lot smoother since installation, but YMMV.

At 16.99 USD on Brownells, with the exchange rate being what it is, it seemed like a better deal than the 35 $Cdn I saw at a shop in Canada, even with the S&H.

Definitely a mod I would reccommend. The release fits Glock models 17, 19, 22-27, and 31-35

I agree, but the "key" is using the right sized screwdriver, I changed mine on my G19, and I concur with you review. Well done.
