So I spoke with Michael a while ago about his new stock he was coming out with. Originally it was called a TACTICAL 10/22 stock. I asked him if he would consider changing the name, so us "Canadians" could get our hands on these. I'm sure a lot of you know what happened with the Boyd Tacticool stock.

Well you know what? He did just that!!!!!!!!!

I got mine in today and mounted everything up. It's a well built stock. Extremely solid! Guys check out his website for all the details. All I am going to say is this is the best 10/22 stock I have seen. For the price you won't find better. Aluminum bedding block, rear aluminum tang with a adjusting screw to take out slop (mine was bang on and didn't require it), flush cups, sling studs....the list goes on. Go get one! He ships to your door.

Happy 10/22 shooting nutters!

I had heard this was going to be a $300 stock, so I was kinda so-so... now that I see its well below that, I may have to pick one up too. Good on him for dropping the 'tactical' nomenclature out of consideration for us Canucks.

Quick question. It says it is inlet to free float a .920 barrel. How much clearance is there? I have another manufacturers stock that is supposed to free float a .920 barrel but it's only inlet to slight under .920,

I have a .920 green mountain barrel it's fully free floated (lots of room to put a small rubber pressure pad under the barrel as well, some 10/22's respond well to this) I'd say 90 thou clearance on both sides. It's the real deal. His introductory price won't last long either. I'm not getting any kick backs either just trying to let you guys know that this is a great product. How can you argue with all the features for 200 bucks to your door?

I'm wondering what the stock length of pull is on this? From trigger to butt pad. Couldn't find it on their website, thanks

This looks like a great alternative.. TKS for posting

Hopefully they will start making some for the CZ452 rifles.

Nice stock and great to see a US company catering to our needs so far as "labeling" is concerned.

isn't it funny how as soon as this stock comes on the market and is available to the Canadians because it is not labelled as "Tactical" that Boyds would suddenly change the name of there Tacticool stock so it is also available for export.

I don't think that was intentional on Boyd's part. They were selling their Tacticool stocks to Canadian's before the 'ban', I'm sure the time between than and now was spent trying to get the "new" version approved or something. Boyd's has been pretty good at supporting Canadian shooters.
