As a member of the F Class America Match team I wouldn't be upset if they experienced a train wreck. However, I do expect them to challenge us greatly.

Heh; I would be bothered to see the Americans (or Brits Aussies etc) be in a train wreck. I want the American team to perform fantastically, and put in a brilliant score, that they and everyone else can be proud of and know it to be a world-class performance that deserves to win.

And I want to see your team do even better, and win the match. It'll be so much sweeter to see your team beat them for the prize, rather than them losing the prize to you.
