Whelp Black Friday deals got the better of me and a certain dealer was selling a Victrix Gladius in 260 REM for 51% off... Needless to say I couldn't help myself. I've always really liked the Victrix, I would just never pay $12000 for one. I'm very curious to see how it shoots Will update here when I get it :). Now as far as glass goes, any ideas? I was thinking a really nice 3-18 or should a guy go 5-25?

I came across the same deal.. tempting for sure

I think a Tangent Theta 525 or ZCO527 would go together nice

Love to hear your thoughts on the rifle when you get it

Update, Rifle Received

All I can say is WOW. The rifle comes in a Victrix branded hard plastic case, wrapped in a Victrix branded cloth every so gently. The Rifle comes with a magazine (plastic but AI pattern), and goodie bag of all sorts of swag.

Initial impressions:

its hard not to stare, everything is so perfectly placed, labeled and put together. Nothing is out of place. The PVD coating on the action and bolt make the movement so smooth dry that I can't even imagine it lubricated. Compared to a Cadex, you can see what this asks a higher price. The tolerances are just that much closer. The trigger is a two stage with a wall that I've never quite felt anything like before. The break is crisp and quick. You know when you're pulling the trigger. The stock is solid with no movement, its adjustable in every way, I just wish the adjustment nobs had a stop before you took them out all the way, but then again for cleaning this may be a nice thing. The cheek rest is metal, something I've never seen before, its rubberized but still you can tell. Not the greatest for those -10 C range days. The chassis is very impressive, the integrated handle is super handy and I already wish other rifles had it. Weight with scope is about the same as a Cadex.

One thing I can't seem to get over is the detail, every spot on every rail is labelled. The balance is great, even with a bipod on front. I would definitely recommend and will probably get another. I'm going to range it on Saturday and I'll add pictures then but if it shoots as good as it looks, I'll be very impressed.

Can't go wrong with a super sniper or a red dot. They look fancy, way too adjustable for my Shrek hands, comd on up to thd rangd of I'll comr down and put it to my Sniper Pztrol Special remingtons.

Never go wrong with magnifaction. Always can dial down compared to hoping for more.

Never heard of these, can't wait to see the pictures!

I'm curious where you purchased this from, do they carry the other ROME accessories? Their optic mounts and bipods look just as interesting

Anyways, hope you're enjoying the new rifle! 260 is one of my favs
