Video Games and Guns

Think of the positives of this though for a second. Someone younger took the time to step off his games long enough to go for his Pal+R, spent his money on the courses and application, was approved same as the rest of us, walked into a store and bought his gun legally and has now added to all the stats of Pal/Rpal holders and handgun owners.

People think guns are cool on tv/movies/games but keep spending hundreds on buying new games instead of buying one, people have failed the tests, and people who have guns but no licence. This young gun in my opinion has either wasted his money or has started a new hobby he will enjoy, its better than the people I just mentioned or people who complain about his reasons to buy what he did on the internet like the antis who complain about us.

Besides I thought newbies were supposed to have an introduction thread as their first post? I worry about those who can't follow simple guidelines on a website forum...

Edit: if we're talking guns from games/movies I want a BFG 9000

aww weird, good catch Run I actually searched before I wrote that. Guess I'm not to swift and shouldn't be pointing out others mistakes.
I owe Magnum an apology, I won't edit my post just to save face.

Is ibtl appropriate? I don't see this going anywhere and op never returned.

The only reason i bought a 870 police cuz it's in Battlefield Bad Company 2. One of EA's top first person shooter games for Xbox 360. Spent the extra couple hundred over a standard 870. I have logged over 600 hours of play time and have a a nice K/D and win ratio. I am 34. No shame here..troollllloooolllllloooolllll. I am a Gamer. Lvl 71 right now in Halo 4..... i want the Forerunner Light Rifle from Halo 4.It shoot's controlled beams of light. Sweet. Check that link out.

Time for all of you to watch R Lee Ermey in Full Metal Jacket say "This is my rifle, this is my gun. This is for fighting and this is for fun!" LOL

It's all good. More gun owners buying guns!! What's not to like?

Cheers
Barney

Pretty much every firearm I own I got the idea from an movie, game, advertisement, friend I don't see any reason why someone should worry. To the OP do you have something against young people owning firearms?

So what if video games made him want that gun? It was first person shooters that got me interested in guns...AND I know there a few of you guys like me out there. :)

How else are you suppose to figure out what gun to get when your first starting out. I think its a good starting point. Movie, game a magazine, whatever you get some ideas to go on.
