This moose was 356 yards away, a real easy shot. I guess I didn't take it as seriously as I should and shot the thing too far back....He hid behind a tree so I had to move my position a bit to get a shot at him...It was either shoot him in the ass or the head/neck, so I went for the front

My buddy (the camera man who keeps saying "not yet" because he doesn't want me to shoot until he has the moose in the lens) is a hunting guide and they needed a cook for the first 3 weeks this season, so invited me up to work and hunt. We had a blast, as usual. In the "interview at the end I am tryign hard not to giggle as he always makes me recite gun/ammo stuff on film becuase he knows I like to experiment. Calls me the "mad scientist"
