Quick video I put together of yesterdays trip to the range to try a new scope/rings/mount combination.
Came away feeling less confident in my rifle (and my shooting) after only shooting it iron sights. Think I set my expectations too high once I scoped it.
I need to,
a) learn how to properly use the MIL 0.1MRAD reticle and knobs
b) strengthen my upper body and core, big time!
c) shoot more!!!!
Alright, enough with the excuses.
Edit* I should probably add that what I wanted to do here is see for myself and anyone else interested if the CASM mount is a solid option for less money. The only downside as I see it is the overall height of the mount. I had to add 1.25" riser to use my scope with low rings.
Would I spend another $100 +/- for a lower mount, probably. But I like knowing this one is from a fellow Canuck earning a living making me M14 accessories.
