you may be right FLTCHU, I hunted the same area today and I seen 8 hinds incl the odd calf and one Stag which was milling with a old hind an her calf from a year or two ago... he was all of 15 inches... I covered a solid 5 k an nothin was out on the fringe....

maybe where I initially started at crack of dawn, the fog might of hidden some fringe dwellers but shortly after the cattle paraded through.
