vietnam sniper rifle?

Big Mike, during Vietnam, correct me if I am wrong fellas, the USMC snipers did not use the M21 as a primary sniper rifle. They used M70 30-06s, M1903A3 with Unertl, even some M70 300 H&H competion rifles, with various scopes. Then they went to 7.62 M40 with a 10 power Unertl, after testing a few Remington bolt actions while the war was on. That evenutally became the M40A1.
US Army snipers went to M21s with the ART 3X9 telescope, and stayed with that model at least until the end of that asian war.
NV scope and Sionics suppressors obviously used, IIRC....
