Any body have any experience with n-105 I am reloading 9mm 147grn with it for the first time and was a little alarmed by how full the cases are with the listed load on the lee die set insert (6.1grains start load). I have only been hand loading for a few months and have not had the cases this full with any other powder and it looks like the load might get compressed. Is there any thing to be worried about? any info would be greatly appreciated.

Compressed loads are nothing to worry about. Your manual should indicate that a particular load is compressed though. Lapua's site doesn't, but it's still nothing to worry about.

N105 was my favorite powder when I was SHOOTING 38 supers ( RACE GUN/ OPEN GUN), it produces gasses well enough for my comp to work. Unfortunately now that I switched to 9Major, and considering the lenght of the 9mm brass it is alomost impossible to make major( bullet weight x velocity) / 1,000 = 160.00 or higher. I still used this powder for practice for my 9major but on the minor side,
8.5gr OF n105 (.355 124gr.bullet) with a COL OF 1.175. a word of CAUTION: THIS IS LOAD WAS DEVELOPED FOR A SPECIFIC GUN.

I would suggest using a faster burning powder for regular 9mm like n320. I load my 147gr bullets with 3.4gr of n320 to make a PF of 133.
