Gun powder is classes as a "hazardous material" which is a nice way for DHL to charge extra for shipping.
Powder can easily be shipped, but has to go by ground and by a courier that is haz mat certified.

Basically a bit more expensive for shipping, but not a big deal to do.

Currently the only packaging available is 1lb units.
I am hoping that our supplier will be able to get larger cannisters.

Contact a sales rep for DHL. There is a way to get around the hazmat fees. A local guy at our gun club was a sales guy for a courier (could have been DHL) and stated it can be done for cheaper. Also based on small volumes.

Local gunshop switched shipping companies.
