It's a good gun. For the price, it's excellent!
I'm not gonna do a review because I don't agree with them. Just because I say it's the best gun ever built doesn't mean it won't have a stoppage. And vice versa, saying it's the ####tiest gun ever doesn't mean it's not reliable and accurate.
What I will say is its kinda like a sig 226 and cz 75 had ### and out popped the mp 446 viking. It is the civilian version of the mp 443 grach, the new standard issue Russian sidearm. It has the ergonomics and action of the 226 with the controls of the cz75.
Pros:
-Price
-accurate
-reliable
-light
-simple
Negatives:
-finish is rough and wears easy. (if you care, I dont, it doesn't effect the operation at all)
-ejection (with light loads it ejects straight up and lands on you, with full factory loads it ejects up and right over your shoulder)
-spare parts and extra magazines are unobtainium. (but the gun is so simple a machinist can make them) reason being is Thier the same parts as the grach and the Russian military has priority.
-limited aftermarket parts (holsters, sights, grips, ect.)
Overall it's a great gun, I wouldn't hesitate for a second to use it in competition. I really like that the russian's kept it utilitarian and adhered to the most important rule for ANYTHING! KISS. Mind you I don't know what Thier availability is now with the situation overseas.
