Chris,
it is not so much Pinto or Alexakos, as the system they have created. IPSC is not democratic by any mean. Every region has one vote, regardless of its size, and also can vote by proxy, which means gives votes away to Pinto and Alexakos.
Those two making career of IPSC, at least that is what people are saying who dealt with them.
IPSC needs its own 'Maidan" like in Kiev, Ukraine and make it more democratic.
Why one vote, but for World Shoot, they allow to use different formula, where size matters? Again, I think it is all about $$$$
In my opinion, the formula for electing officials in IPSC should change and should be proportional to number of members in each region.
Another issue, we should all be register in IPSC World Body, same like USPSA, otherwise, some country can pay many membership fees to send their members to the World Shoots.
