I had this exact Aimpoint with a screw in magnifier on my first center fire rifle...a Mini 14. The scope was pretty good but the mount interfered with ejection of fired casings. To say I was disappointed in the results and accuracy would be an under statement. The scope still worked OK but when the magnifier (3 or 4 X) was screwed on the illuminated dot also was magnified and other than for possible shot gun use it was very disappointing. Phil.
