I like trying out new ideas at the range. Today was no different. Started off shooting the Ruger Mk II and the S&W Model 64 at 50 meters.
Got a little bored with that, sssoooo.....tried out the Colt Model 3-5-7 at 100 meters just for a laugh, with full magnum loads.
I tell you what. If you have an old Trooper or a Python lying around doing nothing do this; Use your normal sight setting for 38 Special loads at 25-50 meters as a reference point.
Noting this position, now crank up your sights one full revolution upwards. Use something mainstream such as a handload equal to the American Eagle 158 gr 357 magnum copper jacketed.

This should put you ballpark for a 100 meter zero.

have some fun!
