Hey Guys, just as a heads up, wanted to relay some experiences I've had ordering replacement pistol grips for several of my old pistols. One was for a 1907 Savage, and the other for a Star 38 super.
Ordered grips for the Star from Vintage Gun Grips, and they arrived quickly, no problem. Ordered the grips for the Savage from Gungrips.com. After 6 weeks I contacted them to see where the order was at, and was told that I gave them the wrong address. I haven't moved or anything, so asked them what address they think I gave them, but they didn't respond. I contacted them again, and was told they would ship them out right away. Checked on the order 4 weeks later, and was told to wait, they were on there way. Contacted them 4 weeks later, and was told they had been shipped, and that it was my problem.
I don't believe the grips were ever shipped, or there was ever an intent to supply them.
So just wanted to recommend Vintage Gun Grips, and warn cgn'ers not to order from Gungrips.com.
