Vintage Shoot Report(Picture heavy)

16 CGNrs had a blast. There were 3 father/son combos there.

I was very surprised to see a SKS doing very, very well and a bone stock Norc 305 (M14) shooting excellent groups (with match ammo).

Saw a SVT40 with a scope, a Mosin Nagant, 3 sks rifles, a Remington Sendero in 7 mag, a p14 (17?), 2 Lee Enfield #4s, a #5, a repro MN Sniper (mine) and a AR15.

Weather was excellent, cool and overcast.

That is CFR Winona. Near stoney creek

Used to be maximum 800 yds which brought ya damn near to the target hut.

Didn't Winona "use" to go back to 900? I had shot at 800 there years ago. I could have sworn that there was one more shooting position behind us at that time.

It is a military range. It is used by the ORA (the Vintage Rifle Shoot, as seen above) and by the Swiss Club, 300 yards only. You are welcome to join us.
